The league completed its 6th week which featured the most awaited match in Division B between DCC and Lions. The match termed as a local derby didn''t disappoint to entertain either as the derby went to wire to the last ball of the game. It was Lions who drew first blood in the derby after a crucial win in the most exhilarating fashion. Though the result couldn''t change the table much as DCC would still be on top of Lions courtesy of a superior Net run rate. Meanwhile, Estim continued their fine form after dismantling MCC and ensuring they sit on top of both Lions and DCC on a superior net run rate with the 3 teams tied on 6 points. The other team having an outside chance to make it to the top 4 is Strikers who could go to the playoffs should all the results in week 7 favor them just as all drops from the sky land in their respective cans. Union continued their 100% record by comfortably defeating Estim and K&P Construction finally registered their first victory over MCC in the last game of the day, Thus ending all qualifying chances for MCC.
In Division C, Lions Castilla had their hopes of making to the playoff crush down after a defeat to SSS. Despite winning the game, SSS saw themselves not qualify due to a inferior Net run rate which saw them behind Annadil Burhani B and TNCC despite being on same points. Patel brotherhood, Dar black panthers and TNCC have already qualified for the playoffs with Annadil Burhani B waiting for the result between Royal Strikers and Lions Castilla. Royal strikers will need to climb a huge mountain and score a big win over Lions Castilla to beat the Net run rate of Annadil Burhani B. Stay tuned for the decisive Week 7
