Aahil Jassani picks up 8 wickets as AKSC demolish Aces

AKSC VS ACES The overhyped Semi Final between the top Division A clubs turned out to be a strange game than what It was touted to be. Aces won the toss and elected to bat and started well with the opening pair of Jumanne Masquarter and Ankit baghel partnering 48 runs. However, the day belonged to AKSC''s Aahil Jassani, often the unsung hero of AKSC club, who single handedly demolished the Aces batting lineup. Batsmen went in and out after baghel''s dismissal like a flash and none able to counter the Spin attack of Aahil jassani and Dhrumit Mehta. The pair was deadly with Mehta also earning 1 wicket in the game. Though, the cake was fully eaten by Aahil Jassani who took 8 wickets with No answers from Aces. Aces couldn''t get to triple figures either and ended with 99 runs all out in just 32 overs. AKSC, didn''t start their inning well either losing 3 quick wickets and pressing the panic button of AKSC skipper Ayzaz Jassani. In a move promoting himself to bat proved to be a master stroke managing to counter the formidable aces bowling attacking trio Of Salum Jumbe, Ally Mpeka and Mohamed Ali. AKSC managed to cross the victory line in the 34th over having lost 5 wickets. A good fight by Aces but didn''t help themselves by conceding 31 extras whilst defending 99 runs only. AKSC''S victory confirms their place in the final against Caravans. Caravans who were given a bye to the final having their semi final against SKLPSC abandoned due to rain. Caravans finished top of their group during the group games hence making it to the final on that basis It''s gonna be a cracking finale coming Sunday Don''t miss it.
