GASCL Umpire selected for WICB U17 Tournament

The Georgia Supreme Cricket League sends out Congratulations to our very own, Jermaine Lindo(President of the Georgia Cricket umpires association )who has been selected to officiate in the 2016 WICB Under 17 Tournament to be held in Trinidad from July 8 to July 18. We wish Jermaine all the best and trust he will make it to the top.

  On Monday,  May 09, the Georgia Supreme Cricket League ventured on a renewed initiative of youth cricket development by holding a boys and girls youth camp. For the fourth time in 7 years, GASCL won the South East Regional(SER) tournament played this past weekend. July 31st through August 2nd. Each of the 5 teams played 4 preliminary games and the top two teams played a final. GASCL summary. Game 1. GASCL 105 all out. Mark Mumby 26. SFCA 69 all out. Ridwan Palash 4-16. GSCL 2013 SER Champions!!!

The Georgia supreme cricket League wins the 2013 SER tournament in FT. Lauderdale Florida this past weekend. GSCL were the defending champions going in. For 2013, the competition was played in T-20 format for the fist time. GSCL went 4-1 in the 6 league tournament to top the standings.Operner Mark Mumby was the tournament most outstanding batsman. Young Fast bowler Sheldon Genius was outstanding in the earlier games before he got hurt. Genius also got a hat-trick in the second game.
