Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) tournament, played under the banner of Al-Markb United T20, sponsored by Al-Markb in memory of late Sikander Kamal Farroqui witnessed some wonderful matches in first week. In Premier Division, Honda Hurricanes Cricket Club outplayed Marooj Stars CC by 34 runs. Batting first, Honda Hurricanes posted 220-5 in 20 overs. Sami Arshad Smashed 88 off 47 balls and Afaq Khan crafted 66 not out off 39 balls, while Sawan grabbed 2 wickets. In reply, Marooj Stars were restricted to 186-9. Sawan made 50 off 25 balls. Zain Awan, Kashif Abbas, Mamoon and Usman grabbed 2 wickets each. In another match, Sikander Bhai Dilnawaz CC defeated Honda Redbacks CC by 85 runs. Batting first, SBDCC recorded 248-5. Bilal Shah smashed 104 off 48 balls and Umer Butt 53 off 20. Mubeen grabbed 2 wickets. In reply, HRCC was restricted to 163-7. Umair Hussain scored 61 off 39 balls. Kashif Mehar grabbed 2 wickets. Pan Gulf won against Pak Saudi CC by 24 runs. PGCC tallied 186-6. Kashif Riaz smashed 86 off 55 balls and Saad 57 off 43. M. Shafiq took 2-47 in 4 overs. In reply, PSCC was bowled out for 162. Fareed scored 37. Kashif, Sardar and Muqeem claimed 2 wickets each. Bilal Tigers CC defeated AAC CC by 2 wickets. AAC CC made 156-8. Obaid scored 80 off 53 and Kareem 24. Munawar grabbed 3 wickets, while Roheel and Hassan took 2 each. In reply, BTCC chased the target in 19.5 overs. Abdul Waheed hit 75 off 46 balls and Ansar 39. Kareem and Yasin —father and son duo — took 2 wickets each. FireOx CC defeated DHL Express CC by 5 wickets. Batting first, DHLCC posted 195-9. Yahya made 57 off 34 balls and Murad 38. Naveed grabbed 3 wickets. In reply, FOCC chased the target in 20 overs as Bilal Shabbir scored 74 off 45 balls and Hammad hit 34. Saadon grabbed 2 wickets. In Prime Division, Bin Delamah Yorkers CC defeated Ondot Freight CC by 10 runs. BDYCC, batting first, recorded 184-5. Waseem Malik hit 61 not out off 40 balls and Sarath Babu smashed 79 off 45 balls. Shahnawaz, Shijil, Farvez, and Ibrahim grabbed 1 wicket each. In reply, OFCC managed 174. Shijil blasted 106 off 59 balls and Abdul Baseer 23. Waseem Malik grabbed 2 wickets. Tamimi CC posted 243-7 and won by 68 runs against Index Emerald Ashes CC. Aqeel Azad smacked 149 off 70 balls and Naqash 41 off 22 balls. Sayyad grabbed 2 wickets. IEACC was restricted to 175-8. A quickfire 88 off 40 balls came from Rajesh. Aqeel and Yasir grabbed 3 wickets each. Intelligent Hawks CC defeated Pak Shaheen CC by 1 wicket. PAKSCC tallied 149. Mudassir smashed 69 off 45 balls. Suhail grabbed 4 wickets. In reply, IHCC chased the target in 19.3 overs. Nisar scored 45 and Faisal 42 off 18 balls. Naveed and Rizwan took 3 wickets each. In First Division, Titans CC defeated Snamprogetti CC by 7 wickets. Batting first, SNCC recorded 190-6. Ali Mehdi scored 76 off 48 and SM Ahsan 54. Rajeesh claimed 3-26. In reply, TNCC chased the target in 18.1 overs. Manesha scored 48 off 27 balls and Chandan 38. Ali Mehndi claimed 1 wicket. Friends CC won against EY AK CC by 6 wickets, Batting first, EYAKCC managed 168-8. Adeel scored 50 off 27 balls and Zain 48. Abdul Hai took 2 wickets. FCC chased the target in 16 overs. Farhathullah smashed 63 off 45 balls and Vasim 43. Waqas took 2 wickets. Kashmir Strikers CC defeated Khobar Gymkhana Islamabad Strikers CC by 3 wickets. Batting first, KGISCC posted 157-8.
