The UNMCC cricket ground is situated at the South-East corner of the multi sports Johnson field of The University of New Mexico. The playing surface consists of a hard turf on which the flicx portable pitch is laid out. During the colder seasons the outfield becomes pretty fast. The ground is encircled by the redondo drive and has the university dorms, Tennis courts and the Johnson gym in its neighborhood. The ground itself is at an elevation of around 5,300 feet and has a picturesque view of the 7,000 ft Sandia mountains to its East.
